We've created two Labor Day presentations. The first is Labor Day (K-4), which gives the students the opportunity to talk about their Labor Day weekend plans while exploring the history and meaning of Labor Day. They can also talk about jobs they know of and what they want from a job when they grow up.
The other one is Labor Day (5-8), which is intended for older students. It has a basic overview on the economy and a more in-depth history of Labor Day.
This adjustable spinner is a fun alternative option to a dice. It can be used for various types activities. Check out our "First day of school" lesson to find two practical examples.
